282.	Morgan Square crowd	Downtown Spartanburg	Morgan Square, huge crowd and dignitaries, virtually all men wearing straw hats. This view shows the garden spot that existed in the middle part of the square and the light fixtures that were installed in the early 1920s.

291.	Morgan Square toward west	Downtown Spartanburg	This view is probably from the early 1890s. The fountain replaced a public well in 1872. Trees were planted in the grassy area. Later the fountain was moved to the Converse College campus, and a band stand was built in the park area.

294.	Nazareth Presbyterian Church	Religion	Nazareth Presbyterian Church, established in the late 1700's, is the oldest Presbyterian church in Spartanburg County. This structure was built in 1832.
